Lore
When first created, the army of terracotta warriors made up some of the funeral goods buried with an ancient emperor, intended to symbolically protect him in the afterlife. In Ryven, the changes in aether have rendered such figures susceptible to magical animation. They are now sculpted as mindless but mighty soldiers of Tian’s military leaders, serving as perfectly obedient shock troops.
