Your first goal is stability
Do not build five damage dealers. Start with one carry, one sustain or shield piece, one control piece, and two flex slots.
The early account mistake is spreading ascension and gear across every pull. Pick one carry and make the team support that carry.
Learn the matchup wheel early
Strength beats Wisdom, Wisdom beats Cunning, and Cunning beats Strength. Eternal is the neutral pressure affinity.
A weaker champion in the correct matchup can be better than a stronger champion eating weak hits.
